A great blazer is a staple in my wardrobe year round. For fall, I love longer lengths that double as a lightweight coat. This one from Chicwish is one of my favorite affordable finds. The double-breasted style and long length are great touches to mix it up from the traditional style blazer. I paired it here with my favorite distressed jeans – which I bought from Zara last year (here’s a similar pair) to make it feel more casual and less business-like. I’ll also wear it completely buttoned up as a dress or a light overcoat over a slip dress for a night out. I love challenging myself to think of new ways to wear traditional items.

Today we are sailing through the Great Barrier Reef as we head towards Bali. I can’t wait to see it! The weather has been perfect here – about 80-85 degrees lately. It feels great to get a little sun especially since once we get back home it’ll likely be snowing!
