While I can rarely say no to a great statement top, basic tops are really the foundation to my wardrobe. I love rotating my favorite tees and tanks with statement pieces for a casual look that’s not overdone. So I always make sure to have great basics on hand. I recently found this white tee by one of my favorite brand for basics. The cut-out neckline adds an edgy touch that makes this top feel less like a basic white tee and makes a statement all its own.
These tie-up heels are one of my favorite recent heel purchases. I typically invest in basics at the start every season so if you feel like you’ve been seeing me feature more here lately that’s probably why. I think it’s really important to build a foundation of easy, basics that can be mixed and matched with the rest of your wardrobe and then sprinkle in statement pieces here and there throughout the season. In case you missed last week’s post where I talked about my summer staples, you can find that here.
