I bought this gray cardigan last year and wore it throughout fall and winter. Here’s this year’s version.

The most coveted sale of the year kicks off today, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale- where you can score great discounts on brand new fall merchandise. Prices go back up after the sale period so this is really a sale that you’ll want to take advantage of. Today marks the first day of Early Access for Nordstrom cardholders where you get to shop early before everyone else. If you’re not a cardholder, the sale event officially kicks off next week on July 21st. No need to fret if you’re not a cardholder – the sale runs through August 6^th and they often restock sold out items throughout the sale. I’ll be doing a number of posts throughout the sale updating you on my favorite items that are still in stock. Today I wanted to share my top picks:

 A great leather jacket is a staple in my wardrobe year-round. There are so many versions in the sale this year. This one is almost identical to the one above (and half the price, but it’s real leather) and I’m loving this one and this one. I’m obsessed with the gold hardware on this one.

 Every time I wear this jacket I get asked about it. An almost exact version (minus the studs) is part of the sale.

 I just wore this cut-out sweater again yesterday on a flight back from San Francisco. It’s edgy, but cozy too. Here’s a similar one.

 AG makes the best jeans and this almost exact pair is on sale. So are these booties. There’s also a similar version of this sweater on sale here.

 Who doesn’t love a great utility jacket? They come in SO handy for fall. There’s a similar one on sale right now (here). This basic tee was also one of the best-selling items last year. Here’s the updated version.

 I always keep a red jumpsuit in my closet. I don’t know why, but it’s one item that is always a statement maker so if I have nothing to wear to an event, I’ll pull it out. Here’s an adorable one from the sale.

This fuzzy pink jacket is one of my favorite statement jackets ever. There are two similar pink coats on sale here and here.

I own way too many versions of this suede moto jacket, but that’s not going to stop me from buying it in gray too (here).

 Burgundy is my favorite fall color. I loved this sweater that I scored at the Anniversary sale so much. Here’s the updated version.

 Speaking of burgundy – this wrap coat is one of my favorites. I bought it in burgundy and gray and both are part of the sale (here and here).

 Cold-shoulder tops are still a major trend. This lightweight knit was on repeat last year. There’s a similar one in the Anniversary sale this year for under $40 (here).

 This lace-up sweater was a hit last fall – it sold out everywhere. Here’s a super similar version on sale now.
