The Best Time of Year To Wear Neutrals

If there’s any color combination that I could wear year-round it would definitely be neutrals. They’re seasonless and they go with everything so you really can’t go wrong. It’s, of course, always fun to try out the “it” color of the season, but I always find myself going back to the basics. The best times of year to wear neutrals are in between seasons when the weather starts to change, but you aren’t quite ready to fully switch your wardrobe over yet. Too be honest, I’m getting a little tired of summer clothes, mostly because one day it feels like summer and the next it feels like fall. With fall just around the corner the time is now to bring out your tried and true neutrals.
I could live in black, but it can get a little depressing so I like to mix it with other shades of black – like gray jeans. These gray Levi’s are one of my favorite pairs. I love the high waist and the busted knees. Levi’s is a brand that’s been around forever and if you don’t already own a pair you are missing out. They are the best quality and oftentimes the best fit. I paired them with this one shoulder black top from Nordstrom which I scored during the Anniversary Sale. It is still available; unfortunately, it’s not still on sale though. Nonetheless, it’s a great top for a more trendy office setting, a lunch meeting or date night.
