The One Pair of Jeans You Need This Fall.

When it comes to denim trends, skinny jeans will be taking a backseat to mom jeans this fall. Blame it on the re-emergence of the 90’s this year – logo mania, round sunglasses, chokers and matching sets are just some of my 90’s favorites. While they were once considered unflattering, “mom jeans” are actually a sexy and feminine style that look great on everyone. The flattering higher-waist fit really accentuates your curves and creates an hourglass figure. The loser thigh fit makes them feel more casual and definitely more comfortable than skinny jeans too. My favorite thing about the “mom jean” trend is that you can feel good wearing actual denim again (no more spandex skinny jeans – you don’t need as much stretch given a more generous fit). Levi’s are my go to brand for the “mom jean” trend. They really nailed it with their collection last fall and they just keep getting better. Personally I like sticking with the 90’s style and going with the rolled up ankle look. It’s a total throwback, but I love the vintage vibe. I’m still on the hunt for a great pair of real vintage Levi’s, but until then, there are so many great options under $100 like these jeans.
