Getting Ready For NYFW.

Today we’re headed out to NYC and I couldn’t be more excited. Besides all of the shows and events happening, I love checking out all of the street style. Packing can be a little stressful because I want to wear fall fashion, but it’s typically pretty warm in NYC still. I typically plan my outfits around my accessories. I just splurged on these heels which instantly elongate and this bag because I’ve been eyeing it for quite a while and I have a feeling it’s going to be my favorite bag for fall. When it comes to apparel, I tend to lean toward layers because they always make an outfit feel more pulled together, but I opt for lighter weight fabrics if I can like this draped dress – which is 30% off right now. I tend to be most inspired by bold silhouettes so I’m always looking for the perfect statement piece. This year I’m leaning toward sexier styles than I typically would – like this blazer dress and I just got these over-the-knee boots although I still haven’t decided if I’ll have a chance to wear them in NYC yet.
