This fall the trending bootie style is the sock bootie. The slightly taller version of the tradition ankle bootie is a slimmer, elongating style that I can’t get enough of. The sock bootie is more versatile – you can pair it with denim or a dress and it doesn’t cut you off the way ankle booties do. I almost never wear booties with a dress, but because the sock bootie hits higher on your calf – it actually elongates. You can also pair sock booties with denim or leggings. I’ve worn my denim tucked in, rolled up and over the bootie. Depending on the fit of your denim, you can really wear them any way. I love these suede sock booties that I got this season. I have been getting so much wear out of them. The color is the perfect shade of brown too.
