Along with handbags, designer heels are were I spend most of my money on my wardrobe. I really believe in investing in quality pieces that will last for years to come. While shoes show signs of wear more easily than handbags, designer versions always hold up better. It’s always disappointing when you scratch or dent a pair of heels the first time you wear them – it’s happened to me too many times with affordable footwear. While there are some really great affordable shoe brands that do hold up pretty well, they still don’t quite compare to designer brands – which are handcrafted. Don’t get me wrong, I own plenty of affordable pairs of shoes too, but when it comes to classic styles that I know will never go out of style, I prefer to invest in brands that hold up. Aside from the quality aspect, designer heels are usually a piece of art too! Here are the designer heels that get the most wear (and that I covet the most) in my closet.
The 'So Kate' Louboutin pumps are my absolute favorite style. They take a little time to break in, but they fit better than any other style for me. These black ones are my most recent Louboutin purchase.
This is my latest designer shoe purchase - I haven't even worn them outside yet because the streets are covered in snow. GR makes the best suede pumps - you won't find their shade of neutrals anywhere else.
These are the perfect wedge for summer and they're always the most in demand. I bought these last year at the end of winter (right when they were released) because I knew they'd sell out once they were officially in season...and they did. They just go restocked this year!
