We had such a good time in Nashville the other week, we’re already thinking about going back. The last day we were there, we stayed downtown Nashville and went to The Grand Ole Opry for a concert (we took these photos right before). The Grand Ole Opry was so much fun. I was blown away by the talent on the stage and the heart of the crowd. To be honest, I was never a big fan of country music before the TV show Nashville, but the songwriting on that show really gave me an appreciation for country music. After visiting Nashville and listening to talented songwriters at The Blue Bird Cafe and The Grand Ole Opry, I was even more impressed. Seriously, two nights in a row I was in tears (basically bawling) as we listened to the children of some of country music’s legends sing. If you haven’t heard Holly Williams before (granddaughter of Hank Williams) listen to this song she wrote about her grandparents love story. It’s the most beautiful song and is such a great reminder to appreciate the simpler things in life.
