Layering Up On Catalina

These photos are from last weekend on Catalina Island. We took a day trip there last Sunday with my family before they headed back home to Minnesota the next day. Unfortunately, we chose the coldest and rainiest day of their trip to go, but it was my sister’s birthday so we had to go out and do something fun. It ended up being pretty nice, just a little chilly and a couple short showers. None of us had ever been to Catalina so it was fun to experience something new together. I do want to go back in the summer when we can enjoy the beach and snorkeling and maybe, if my husband is lucky, even the zip line (I’m deathly afraid of heights!). We had the best Mexican food and enjoyed exploring the quaint streets of Catalina.
