Happy (almost) Fourth of July! I’m looking forward to spending time with friends and family this weekend. This year my husband, Phil, is out of town so it will be my first Fourth without him in eight years. He’s performing on a cruise ship to Alaska for the next couple of weeks – which I am so jealous I couldn’t go on due to work. The Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays. We both absolutely love fireworks. The last fireworks show we saw together was on our wedding night last year. I can’t wait to share our wedding video and pictures soon as we come up on our first anniversary. This summer we’ve been trying to get outside more and enjoy the beautiful weather in Minnesota. I love cruiser bikes and recently found this one at Sam’s Club of all places. After riding around the store on it (my husband forced me to try it out!) I had to take it home. One of our favorite summer activities in California is to rent cruisers and ride along the ocean. I hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable weekend filled with BBQs, pools and bike rides…and fireworks, of course!
