The weather is only getting colder, but I’m trying to squeeze in all of my favorite fall items before I fully turn to sweaters and boots. Burgundy always seems to come back every fall as the “it” color and since it looks good on nearly everyone; it’s definitely a fall staple. This lace-up top is something I’d been eyeing for a while. The lace-up front is flattering although a tad revealing so I paired it with a faux leather jacket for a day-appropriate look. It comes in a number of different colors and sleeve lengths and will be great under an oversized cardigan in the winter months too.

Yesterday we started to put up our Christmas lights and when I saw “we” I actually mean Phil. He did a great job, but I’m just happy he didn’t fall off of the roof! 🙂  We decided to get an early start on decor since we will be traveling this year over Christmas and we want to be able to enjoy all of the decor for as long as possible. We’ve been going a little crazy hitting up local Target stores to find all of the lights we need. I realized we were maybe jumping the gun when we went to a Target store yesterday that had only just started setting out Christmas decor. Oh well! Now on to holiday shopping…
