As soon as the temperatures take a drastic turn, I find myself leaning into the same loungewear pieces over and over again. While nothing beats the comfort of worn-in pajamas, there are plenty of casual chic winter outfits worth trying. I’ve been trying to get more creative with styling and thought this would be a great time to showcase some recent looks that help keep things interesting. Whether you’re in need of pieces that you can wear throughout the week, new workout clothing or weekend outfits, I have you covered below!
1. Half-Zip Pullover, Leggings & Sneakers
I’ve been a huge fan of athleisure since the beginning, and now that it’s become a mainstay in everyday fashion, I couldn’t be more grateful for it. If you’re just getting into the athleisure aesthetic now, you have plenty of effortlessly chic pieces to pick from like half-zip pullovers and ribbed leggings. I especially love that the movement allows us to be comfortable and chic at the same time (all the time).
2. Glossy Puffer Jacket, Workout Set & Baseball Cap
It’s that time to kick your fitness goals into high gear. Getting out and active is especially hard in the winter, but a body-flattering set is sure to get your motivation up. A glossy puffer jacket makes it easier to brave the cold – and it adds just enough street style edge to get you through the streets without looking ridiculous.
3. Oversized Cardigan, Faux Leather Leggings & Sneakers
Lofty cardigans always make a strong appearance throughout fall and winter. They’re as snuggly as a soft throw blanket but look way chicer. And you just need to throw them on top of faux leather leggings to look the part.
4. Fleece Jacket, Straight Leg Jeans & Combat Boots
Another casual staple I’m utterly in love with this season is fleece jackets. To keep them from looking too casual, pair them with straight leg jeans tucked into combat boots. Then, accessorize with a chunky chain bag.
5. Sweatsuit & High-Top Sneakers
You guys know this outfit round up wouldn’t be complete without the mention of sweatsuits. Freshen up your collection with a bold or light-colored set. And keep the urban street vibes going strong by finishing off your look with high-top sneakers.
6. Faux Fur Coat, Skinny Jeans & Combat Boots
There are many sartorial possibilities of a faux fur coat. Though commonly associated with night out looks, it can amp up a low-key uniform in the coolest way possible. I love throwing mine on top of some trusty skinny jeans and turtleneck sweater. Keep the look grounded with your catchiest combat boots.
