We spent my birthday at the Summer Palace in Beijing last week and had such a great time. The property was impressive…it’s massive! It was a chilly day and I only had this blazer on…notice the people with winter coats on in our photos? Yeah, I wish I would’ve brought mine! Needless to say, we didn’t spend too long here, but just enough to appreciate the beautiful architecture and climb all of the steps to the top of the palace. I was out of breath halfway up! I can’t imagine the emperor climbing all those steps.
