The blazer is not only a perfect layering piece, but a tried-and-true wardrobe staple that's key to looking polished and pulled together.
This is the best affordable alternative to my favorite Balmain blazer. The double breasted style and metallic buttons are ideal to dress up any look.
2. Little Black Dress
I love a LBD that's versatile enough to be worn during the day and at night. The longer length and form-fitting style of this one makes it appropriate for the office as well as cocktail hour.
This figure flattering number is under $100 and looks so chic. I love the waist-nipping, wrap detail in the front.
3. White Blouse or Button Down
A silk button down is one of the most versatile pieces you can own. Tuck it into a pair of high-waisted jeans for a tailored appeal - and layer it with a blazer in cooler weather.
Treasure & Bond
This year-round essential is perfect for the office, a night out, or a weekend stroll. I love all the different ways you can style it for fall.
4. Plain T-Shirt
The perfect white tee is one of those basics that everyone owns. The boxy structure and oversized fit makes this one a favorite.
Hanes x Karla
For t-shirts comfy and casual enough for everyday, you can't go wrong with Hanes. The fabric isn't too sheer - and it has the perfect amount of thickness.
5. Real Leather Jacket
This leather jacket fits like a glove and softens to perfection with wear. Although on the higher end, you'll get a ton of mileage out of this gorgeous piece.
Here's a budget-friendly option that's similar to the Acne version. This one is also classic with a versatile fit.
6. Classic Pumps
These are my favorite heels in my closet because they really make any outfit standout. They continue to hold up no matter how much I wear them, so they're definitely worth the investment.
Finding the right heels to anchor your looks together don't always have to be pricey. Here's a budget-friendly option that's leg-lengthening, timeless, and elegant.
7. Skinny Jeans
Although I love this season's fresh denim trends, skinny jeans will always be a basic in my wardrobe. Give your skinny jeans an update by opting for a high-waisted, distressed pair.
You can't go wrong with a faded, vintage wash. The slimming silhouette is so flattering.
8. Trench Coat
I love throwing a trench over anything to elevate an outfit from casual looks to dresses. This one from Burberry is the perfect weight and build for fall.
You don’t have to spend a lot to find a great trench coat. I also love this sleek version by Mango.
9. Turtleneck Sweater
Lovers + Friends
For a capsule wardrobe during the fall and winter, a turtleneck is a must-have. It can be worn alone or layered under dresses and camisoles.
This under $100 version looks great with jeans and just about everything else.
10. Black Ankle Boots
You can never have too many ankle boots, but a slick black pair is my favorite for everyday.
Kendall + Kylie
I love the geometric cut of this ankle boot. The low block heel is perfect for casual looks and lots of walking.
