It’s been so beautiful in LA this week. I really feel like I don’t enjoy or appreciate the sunshine enough given I sit in front of my computer all day and meanwhile the rest of the US is in a deep freeze. That’s the constant struggle when you live in a warm-weather climate. People always say LA has a lot of distractions, like the beach, and I totally get it now. I often choose work over those distractions, but secretly I resent it at times. Nonetheless, I do get out every now and then. Hehe. Rodeo Drive is only 3 miles from where we live so we often head that way if we want to get a little shopping in at the end of the day. That’s where these photos were taken. It’s a fun touristy thing to do. One thing about Beverly Hills that I absolutely love (besides the shopping of course) is the sun ALWAYS seems to be shining. It’s like it was built in the sunniest pocket of Los Angeles. 

Hope everyone has a happy Valentine’s Day tomorrow. I will be spending the weekend in Beverly Hills with a girlfriend while my husband’s away performing on his cruise. I did get a beautiful bouquet of long-stemmed roses yesterday and a giant box of popcorn and candy to enjoy. He knows me too well!
