We had the best weekend at the Madonna Inn. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already knew that. I was in heaven there! I can’t even begin to describe how much fun it was. I’ve wanted to go for quite a while after seeing some pics online, but I have to admit I was a little nervous that the rooms wouldn’t live up to their pictures. I was wrong! The hotel was built in the 1950’s and a lot of it is still original, but there are also a lot of updates and everything is super clean and well-maintained. If you want to escape to a place that feels like you’re in a fairy tale, you need to go here! Even Phil, who was sure he’d not enjoy the place, LOVED it! He even insisted we buy the hotel’s book and have Mrs. Madonna herself sign it for us. I’m so glad we did. I cannot wait to go back! We stayed in The Romance Room which was a bright turquoise room adorned with gold accents. It was absolutely adorable. It felt like we were sleeping in a dollhouse. We were at the hotel celebrating our one year anniversary (a month early) because Phil’s performance schedule will overlap with the actual day. I can’t think of a better place to have celebrated!
