There’s nothing better than a casual outfit on the weekend. I live in comfy oversized sweaters and skinny jeans on the weekends. To mix it up, and for an ultra casual yet chic look, I bought a plain hoodie (this one’s under $30!) and threw my favorite leather moto jacket on top. The key to looking polished in even the most casual outfits (like this) is layering, layering, layering! Ok, it is possible to overdo it on the layers so be careful as to how many you have on, but layering tops with different textures, silhouettes and lengths makes it more interesting.

What do you guys have planned this weekend? Phil and I are attending a marriage conference that my sister and brother in-law recommended to us. It’s a faith-based retreat for newlyweds and couples looking to reconnect. We never really did couples counseling before getting married, except for one session with our pastor; so we’ve been meaning to attend something like this.
