Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope you are spending the day with those you love. This year, Phil and I are celebrating Christmas in our home for the first time and we’re starting traditions of our own. One of my favorite things that we did this week was head to a local Christmas tree farm which was beyond adorable. We had the best afternoon playing with little Luna in the snow and taking in all of the amazing smells. There’s nothing better than the smell of a real tree! Afterward, we went to our favorite little diner for peppermint bon bon shakes – I love them during Christmas. For this shoot, we picked out these casual Christmas outfits from Nordstrom which are perfect for the cold weather we have here. Plaid shirts are a staple in both of our winter wardrobes and we both love the look of down vests. We’ve been wearing ours so much lately! It’s amazing how warm they keep you. We had a local photographer, Tiffany Kokal, spend the afternoon with us to document our day and our first Christmas with little Luna. Looking at these photos reminds me that although life is imperfect, there are some pretty perfect moments that I wouldn’t change for anything.
