The countdown till the holiday parties are on, and it’s one of the most exciting times of the year for me. There’s nothing I enjoy more than catching up with old friends and families to celebrate the holidays. The season is never complete without a few gatherings, which I know can be so tricky to dress for. From casual get-together with friends to formal cocktail parties, picking the right outfit for all the different dress codes can be stressful – especially when you’re also gift shopping and hosting. I now start all outfit planning well in advance because I never want to be in a situation where I’m stuck on what to wear. Holiday cocktail parties are one of the most memorable parts of the season. And I find that there is nothing more fitting than a sequin number. They’re such a statement piece that look sexy and classy. Other alternatives I love are velvet, lace, and dark floral dresses.

Après Ski Party

The holidays bring forth several fun themes, and one of my favorites is an après ski party. It’s a great excuse to pull out your favorite furry jackets and fairisle sweaters. What’s great about these items is that they work on an everyday basis – and also look great for a night of hot cocoa (or cocktails) and watching your favorite holiday movies.
