The Festival Hair Kit You Can Use All Season Long

While I don’t have plans to attend any festivals this season, I love this time of year because there are so many new trends that emerge – especially in beauty. I always find myself saving new trends to try out as I scroll through my Instagram feed during Festival Season. I especially love all of the hair trends because I’m a big fan of long, boho waves – which are typically everywhere this time of year. It’s always been a bit of a mystery to me as to how girls can keep their hair looking so perfect throughout the festival, but this season, Pantene launched its Festival Hair Kit – which packs all of the items you need to ensure perfect hair in one easy pouch. As the official sponsor of Coachella, Stagecoach and Firefly, Pantene has made this portable pack for all your festival hair needs. However, it’s not only great for festival season – it’s a must-have for summer because it has everything you need to keep your hair lush and healthy.

I actually took Pantene’s Festival Hair Kit on my trip to Arizona the other week and it was a lifesaver in the desert heat. If you saw my InstaStories you probably know that I got my hair done while we were in Arizona. I try to go as long as I can before washing my hair after getting it done to preserve the color. I was so glad to have Pantene’s Festival Hair Kit with me, especially the Airspray, Dry Shampoo and On-the-Go Frizz Iron, which helped my hair last as long as possible in the 90+ degree heat. Now that I’m home and have washed my hair, I’m keeping it extra smooth and healthy by using the Intense Rescue Shots and Nourishing Mask from Pantene’s Festival Hair Kit.

For all of you festival-goers, you can use each of these before, during and after the festival, but here’s how I’d recommend using them…

I recommend using the Dry Shampoo, Airspray (alcohol-free hairspray) and On-the-Go Frizz Iron for styling your hair before and to keep it looking fresh during the festival.

Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo is an essential on days that I don’t wash my hair, or on the second or third day of a festival. It comes in extra handy during the warmer months when you’re outside more often. Pantene’s Dry Shampoo is super lightweight and smells great, which I love. This Dry Shampoo absorbs oil so well and gives me fresh, clean hair to work with. One of my tricks is spraying it at night before I go to bed, at the roots and rubbing it in where oil absorption is needed most, that way I only need a little in the morning.

On-the-Go Frizz Iron

For those of you attending an outdoor festival in the heat or desert – the On-the-Go Frizz Iron is here to save the day! My hair tends to frizz up, especially when I go somewhere hot or with higher humidity levels than what I’m used to. Pantene’s On-the-Go Frizz Iron manages frizz without heat or water, which is pretty impressive when you’re on the go. You simply use it like a normal hair iron without any hassle! It’s small enough that you can just toss it into your handbag.

Airspray

I’m such a big fan of Pantene’s Airspray (hairspray) inside this kit because it’s alcohol-free, locks out humidity, adds shine, and controls frizz. I like how it lightly holds styled hair without making it feel crispy or sticky, perfect to keep a style in place all day during a festival. I would recommend avoiding hairspray especially near the roots of your hair since this can cause a lot of build up and weigh your hair down. Traditional hairspray can also be drying since it has alcohol in it which is why I love that Pantene’s airspray is alcohol-free!

For you festival goers, a weekend of styling your hair (mixed with being outdoors with the sun and heat) can be hard on your hair, that’s why Pantene has included the Intense Rescue Shots and Nourishing Mask sachets in the Pantene Festival Hair Kit. Use these after a weekend of heavy styling or when your hair is in need of refresh after festival weekend…

Rescue Shots

I tend to do a lot of styling with heat tools and products and often find myself touching up strands throughout the day especially in the hotter weather. So after a few days of being in the sun at a festival, it’s important to give your hair the TLC it has been missing. This is where Pantene’s Intense Rescue Shots come into play. I love these Intense Rescue Shots because they contain a ton of strengthening vitamins that bring damaged hair back to life within a 60 seconds. After shampooing, on damp hair, massage from root to tip, targeting areas that see the most damage – leave in for 30 seconds and then rinse it out for 30 seconds. I’m already planning to stock up on more of these for situations when my hair needs a pick-me-up. They’re travel friendly since they’re already packed into little tubes.

Nourishing Mask Satchets

After a few days of being in the sun, my hair usually feels limp, dry, and damaged. The Nourishing Mask satchets are perfect for an instant hydration boost and visibly healthier, shinier hair. They don’t take up a lot of room and do a great job quenching parched hair. While in the shower, after shampooing, comb the mask into your hair from mid-shaft to the ends, leave in for 5-7 minutes, and then rinse out.

Thanks to Pantene, you can take care of your hair this festival season. Pick up your own Festival Hair Kit at a Kroger near you!
