I’ll confess, I’m not a huge fan of skirts – it’s often hard to find a flattering fit for my petite frame, but I do love the button-down skirt trend and I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect one. I love the denim ones I’ve seen everywhere which are great for spring, but to mix it up a bit, I went for this suede version. It’s super soft and it comes in petite! I just love the cognac color of this skirt and bag together – especially contrasted against black. I’m wearing another bodysuit under this skirt because the high waist of the skirt looks much better without added material underneath.

We’re arriving in Sydney today which I’m so excited to see! Since it’s Good Friday we may be limited in our options to sightsee though. We’re bound to get a good photo of the famous Sydney Opera House at the very least. Happy almost Easter! It’s our second year in a row that we’re spending it on a cruise ship! What are the chances?! It’s weird not to be going to church, but the I can guarantee Easter brunch will be great!

  1. I have seen and LOVED this look on SO many people, but it’s so different than what I normally wear (And I’m also hesitant to buy things that might only be trends) but it just looks so good! Love this look you put together – might have to bite the bullet and give this a try soon!

Thanks so much for asking. These are from Nasty Gal and unfortunately, they are sold out now. xx, Maria
