For starters, there are two ways to get in a bodysuit – stepping into it (when there’s no button closure at the bottom) or pulling it over your head like a typical top and buttoning the bottom – which is also much easier when using a restroom…things to think about when buying a bodysuit. I hope I haven’t talked you out of trying out the trend just yet because bodysuits can be so flattering and comfortable. I honestly prefer to wear a bodysuit over a basic top these days. Once you establish which  you prefer it makes it a lot easier to shop for one. I personally don’t mind either way, this particular bodysuit is one that you have to step into, but the jersey fabric is stretchable – so it’s easy to pull on. The biggest thing to remember when buying a bodysuit is to size up! I’ve slowly learned that after ordering so many bodysuits which never seem to fit right. I always go one size up if it’s a US size and two sizes up if it’s a UK size (usually ordered from Asos – which tends to fit super small for some reason). Bodysuits look great with high-waisted jeans and I can’t wait to pair my bodysuits with cut-off jean shorts this summer.

xo, Maria
