We’re back home after an amazing early-birthday surprise getaway to Napa this past weekend. I still can’t believe Phil was able to pull it all off because I usually end up figuring out every surprise! It was so warm in Napa, it made me miss summer a little bit. It sure feels like fall back here though! I’m all about cozy fall layers lately and there’s nothing I love more than a soft sweater coat that you can throw on over anything. I bought this one a couple of months ago – when it was too hot to be even thinking about fall, but I found it in the new arrivals section and I just couldn’t pass it up. It looked so cozy! It’s such a soft, thick fabric I know I’ll wear it through winter too. I wore it over this sweater tunic that now comes in a long-sleeve version too! I love monochromatic looks which always look chic to me.

I can’t stop wearing these Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots since I finally caved this season and bought them. They are so comfortable and I know I’ll have them for seasons to come. I recently found this more affordable version that look almost identical in person. I actually bought them, but the Stuart Weitzman’s fit a little tighter around my calves (which I need since I’m so petite) so I returned the other pair. I do highly recommend both pairs though!
