The holidays wouldn’t be complete without attending a party or two and when it comes to finding the perfect outfit this year it’s all about velvet. Velvet dresses are hands down my favorite holiday party look. I love how luxe the fabric is and it always comes in stunning jewel tones.

This holiday season I’ve been determined to order everything I need well in advance of holiday events, but I have to confess I’ve already been guilty of abandoning my online cart only to return to find my selection is out of stock. Holiday outfits sell out fast! Don’t let me be the first to tell you that! I ordered this sapphire velvet dress a while ago and it was on backorder for a while, but I finally received it this week. I noticed it’s selling out super fast, but there are so many other beautiful options. In fact, I might be wearing more than one velvet dress to holiday events this year. Nordstrom is always my favorite place to score holiday party looks at any price point and I’m dying over their selection right now. There are too many pretty dresses to pick from.
