If there’s one item you need in your wardrobe, it’s a cozy sweater. You can’t go wrong when buying sweaters – you can never really have enough. Although I often buy way more than I need, I always find myself wearing a few core styles.

Here are 7 key styles for fall

1. A  feminine v-neck: I love v-necks for layering over a lace cami or bralette. This one is ultra soft and it’s flattering for any body type. It’s also 30% off right now!

2. An easy cardigan: Cardigans are probably my most-worn sweater style. They work over everything and are a great way to transition summer tops to fall (just throw a cardigan over them). I love this slouchy version.

3. A versatile tunic: A tunic sweater is my favorite kind to wear with over-the-knee boots (another fall staple). I got this one in two colors for fall (red and white – last worn here).

4. A cozy crewneck: Paired with denim and layered over easy basics is my favorite way to wear a crewneck. It’s an ultra casual style that’s perfect for the weekend. I just bought this super soft one.

5. A sexy off-the-shoulder: An off-the-shoulder silhouette is one my favorite styles for tops, in general. To carry it into the cooler months, I opt for a sweaters that bare my shoulders. This one is a favorite for fall (last seen here).

6. A statement sleeve: A statement sleeve will instantly add interest to a basic sweater. I love the vintage vibe of bell sleeves like these.

7. A chunky pullover: There’s nothing better than a chunky sweater on a crisp fall day. I like pairing oversized sweaters with leggings or skinny denim to balance out proportions. This chunky turtleneck is one of my favorites this season.
