It’s finally starting to warm up and time to start thinking about swimsuit season. I’m always surprised by how difficult it is to find an affordable yet chic swimsuit. I love the high cut and v-neck of this suit which adds the perfect amount of sexy without being over the top.

We had such a great time this past weekend in LA and the weather was perfect! We went to the beach more times in the three days we were there than we would typically do in a whole year while we lived there. It was the first time both of us were there together since moving last year. I can’t deny that it was a little bittersweet. The weather, food and fashion scenes are just so alluring. We had the best stay at the Orlando Hotel which is just down the street from where we used to live. It was so fun to be in our old neighborhood again. We took advantage of the record-high temps and got up early enough to watch the sunrise at the Santa Monica pier one morning. It was actually super fun to be up before rush hour and get to the beach before there were really any people there – just early-morning joggers. The sky was so pink as the sun came up and the ocean was so blue – it looked like glass. It was definitely one of the prettiest sights we’ve seen.

We, of course, had to take photos by a lifeguard tower for my Baywatch moment. Haha. I love that this suit resembles one of those iconic red swimsuits. That was one of my favorite shows growing up!
