A Classic New Year’s Eve.

New Year’s Eve is one of the most romantic holidays of the year. Sealing the year with a kiss from the one you love is the perfect way to celebrate. New Year’s Eve is always a special time for us, even on the years that we don’t go all out. Over the years we’ve celebrated in big ways and small – some together when the ball drops and some apart, but we always make sure to reflect on the past year and all that we have to be thankful for. It’s the first year that we’ll be celebrating the holidays in our new home and we’re excited to set new traditions. As many of you know, my husband, Phil, is a very talented musician so he’s often away performing on New Year’s Eve. This year, he has an early gig and then he’s planning on ringing in the new year with me and our little Golden Retriever puppy at home. I’m looking forward to a low-key night especially after a hectic holiday season.
Picking out a New Year’s Eve dress is always a highlight of the season for me. This year, I’m planning on keeping it classic in a little black dress from Express. I’m in love with all of their New Year’s Eve looks – it was so hard to pick just one to share. If you’re looking for something a little more glam or a little more festive – they have that too. Every girl deserves to ring in the new year with a little sparkle and these heels are the perfect way to do so. Phil even picked out a new tuxedo for the evening. He tends to prefer wearing navy suits over black so I love that this tuxedo jacket incorporates both colors and pairs so easily with traditional tuxedo pants. Express is still having a major holiday sale so you can score great pieces at a huge discount!
