A blanket scarf is a a must-have accessory for the colder-weather months. It’s such a classic piece that really pulls together any outfit. This winter I’m trading in the standard tartan print for a softer hued check print. I love this neutral colored version that I purchased recently and it’s under $30! I tend to switch over my wardrobe from dark fall colors to lighter neutrals once winter rolls in. This scarf will pair great with most of my wardrobe. I paired it with this v-neck sweater that I can’t stop wearing. It’s super soft and the deep v-neck can be pulled off to the side for an off-the-shoulder style too (like I did here).

We finally got snow this weekend and I love it! It inspired us to put up more Christmas decor and this year we’re definitely going bigger than we did last year. I found a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and Phil has been a good sport making it all come to life. I think he loves it even more than I do now! We’re hoping to get out in the snow and get some winter photos this week. I can’t wait!
