One of my favorite trends already this year is statement sleeves. They’re the perfect way to add interest to even the most basic outfit. It’s no secret, I tend to rely on basics for my everyday looks. Distressed denim and a cute top are all I need to feel comfortable and confident. I love the statement sleeve trend because it adds a feminine and dramatic touch to an outfit. My skinny jeans always feel a little more dressed up when paired with a statement sleeve top. I love how easily the trend transitions from day to night too. To participate in the trend, you don’t have to spend a lot. I actually found this top from JCPenney. When I saw it, I instantly fell in love and it definitely rivals some of my more expensive statement tops. It’s so elegant to me with the mock-neck and Victorian-inspired shoulder details too. Would you believe it’s under $25?! This one’s a no-brainer #SoWorthIt. I also found this luxe faux fur jacket – which is perfect for this time of year and great for a night out. My favorite way to elevate affordable pieces is to pair them with designer accessories like this Gucci belt (I know, I probably wear it too much) and my classic vintage Chanel bag. I love mixing high and low pieces together for a versatile wardrobe. To be honest, I was surprised to see so many items that I wanted at JCPenney right now.
