Those pieces anchor my seasonal wardrobe and then I like to incorporate more affordable finds throughout the season to create more affordable looks. As much as I love switching up my everyday look, I also really value investing in timeless pieces that I can wear over and over again. Pieces that stand the test of time have to be great quality for them to stay looking like new so investing in durable, quality items is really worth it, in my view. My favorite place to score designer pieces is Nordstrom. They always have the latest seasonal edit and you can be sure that whatever you find will be in style for seasons to come too. I love that they always have stuff I would actually wear vs. high-end pieces that look amazing, but really aren’t practical. Some of my favorite designer pieces for this season actually include a couple that I purchased at Nordstrom a while ago!

Here are three pieces that are worth investing in this season (and you can carry them into other seasons as well):

Statement heels: Over the last several years, I’ve been adding a pair of statement heels to my wardrobe each season. I typically only invested in classic versions, but after realizing how much wear I got out of my first bright pink statement designer heels, I decided that they are a worthwhile investment. These suede blue Jimmy Choo heels are my latest obsession. They are the perfect pop of color for spring and summer.

An everyday bag: You guys probably know how much I love my Givenchy Antigona bag. I use it year-round, but lately I’ve been pairing it with some of my favorite neutral spring looks. I love that this bag is practical (it holds a ton of stuff)! The soft grain leather is so chic and instantly makes your outfit look better! I actually bought this one last summer and took it on a trip to Alaska with me. I even took it hiking – yes, I’m that crazy! It survived a rainstorm and a hike through the mountains and still looks brand new! This exact version sells out fast, but it’s now available for pre-order here.

A leather jacket: This is a staple in my wardrobe. Having a leather jacket on hand as we transition through seasons is key to keeping that street style edge. A couple of seasons ago, I invested in this high-quality leather jacket (and replaced a faux version from Zara which looked amazing, but definitely didn’t hold up the same way a real leather jacket does). I’m surprised by how much wear I’ve been getting out of my leather jacket lately. The weather goes from feeling like summer one day to snowing the next (it actually snowed this week!).
