We are over halfway through our trip and it’s going by too quick! We arrived in Maui last night which will be our last stop before we head home this weekend. I wore this casual outfit yesterday for a day of exploring our resort (The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai) one last time before we left the Big Island. There’s so much to do and see! The hotel sits right on the ocean and an endangered Hawaiian monk seal washed ashore so we were able to see him up close. He’s one of only two native monk seals on all of Hawaii. We made sure to catch a glimpse of him before we left and then we relaxed by the ocean for a bit. Although we didn’t have a lot of time left, it was so relaxing. As soon as we sat down in some beach chairs, an employee popped up out of nowhere with a bunch of towels and asked us if we’d like to have them laid out for us. The service at the resort is so impressive! To say we were sad to leave is an understatement. We definitely want to go back soon! I kept this outfit on for the flight to Maui although I was a bit nervous that I’d be cold on the plane. I brought a denim jacket along and it was actually just fine. It was nice to have on warm-weather attire once we landed too because it’s so hot and humid. These paper bag shorts are very different from my typical denim cut-offs, but I love that they’re a little dressier and look great with heels/wedges. I’ve been taking this hat with me everywhere and I have a feeling it’s going to be one of my favorite accessories for summer. It’s on sale right now too!
