The Hunt For An All-Weather Bag.

In the warmer-weather months, I typically add a functional (yet chic) bag into the mix. I’m all about designer bags because the quality is worth it to me and great design never hurts either, but designer bags aren’t always the most practical choice. In the warm-weather months, I spend more time outside and lately that’s meant a whole lot of rain. Figuring out which bag to carry (and not risk it getting ruined) hasn’t been easy! I’ve been on the hunt for a designer bag that can withstand any condition. I was convinced that finding an all-weather bag was impossible, until I was introduced to Hunting World NYC bags recently. I feel like this line of bags has everything I’ve been looking for. The collection was designed by Robert M. Lee – a wildlife conservationist and photographer. He designed the 3-ply nylon fabric collection of bags to protect his camera gear in the most extreme weather conditions – so these bags are virtually indestructible! Hunting World NYC also has a great line of travel bags which I can’t wait to get a hold of too. For everyday use, I chose this mini drawstring bucket bag which doubles as a shoulder bag. I took it with to Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and I got so much use out of it as we explored the islands (see it here and here). It held all of my essentials plus my mini camera and iPhone. I couldn’t wait to use the bag again once we got back home. I paired it with casual separates for an everyday look. The masculine color palette of the collection and chic design add the perfect touch to my everyday edgy street style.
