3 Pieces You Need To Transition To Fall.

With fall approaching, I’ve been gradually building up my wardrobe with pieces that will get me through the season, but that I can wear now too. Lightweight, casual neutrals are my go-to when it comes to seasonal transitions. Each season, the first thing that I stock up on are basics – tops and denim mainly – and then I add in statement pieces like a great jacket or heels. I love trying out new retailers (or revisiting ones I haven’t shopped at in a while) to find more unique pieces. One of my favorites is Club Monaco. They always have such quality pieces in the chicest styles and their assortment of workwear and casual means you can shop there for really anything! Here are three staples I picked up there for transitioning to fall.
A White Blouse
While white can seem boring, it’s all about the silhouette. Whether it’s statement sleeves, cold-shoulder cutouts or an off-the-shoulder neckline, a neutral-colored blouse will really let the silhouette stand out. I like to wear neutrals 90% of the time because no matter the price point, they always look luxe.
Cropped Denim
When it comes to the “in” denim style, it often has to with the footwear trend for the season. Since fall is heavy on booties and boots, cropped denim is a great way to show them off. I prefer cropped denim no matter what because I’m petite and I don’t have to get them altered.
A Trench
For fall, there’s nothing better than a chic trench coat. It’s the season for trenches and they always have a way of making any outfit look pulled together. A great trench will last you for years to come.
