How To Wear Leather As Daywear This Fall.

Leather is one of my favorite cold-weather textures. Real or faux, it’s a statement-maker that instantly elevates your wardrobe. While it’s not often associated with daywear, this season it’s becoming more versatile and being reinvented into more feminine silhouettes that could even be worn to the office. For everyday, casual wear, I like to pair leather with the season’s coziest fabrics like wool, cashmere or shearling. This helps eliminate the going out vibe of leather. Soft casual knits contrast really well with edgy leather. I love playing with opposing textures and silhouettes to create more interest to my outfit. Whenever I wear leather I like to keep my color palette neutral – think gray, white, camel or black. Neutrals always feel more luxe even if they’re inexpensive. These vegan leather pants are my favorite “leather” pants to-date. I actually bought a pair last fall and wore them on repeat until a rambunctious dog jumped on me and tore a hole in them. I decided to try out a few new styles in leather pants, but none fit me quite like these did so I ordered them again this season. At under $100, they’re a great way to wear the leather look without the price tag. I paired them with this off-the-shoulder bell sleeve sweater. I’ve been loving anything with bell sleeves lately.
