Although I don’t yet have plans to attend any festivals this season I still love to incorporate of-the-moment trends and festival pieces are warm weather staples. Festival pieces can be whimsical bohemian or lean more towards rocker chic – my personal favorite. When we lived in LA, I loved classic bohemian pieces, but my style over the years has gravitated more towards edgier looks with a feminine twist. I love the look of boho rocker chic for spring and summer – it’s a natural warm weather take on my core style. Here are some of my go to festival pieces that I’ll be wearing all through the warm weather months.

Classic Denim Jacket

And oversized denim jacket is a staple in my wardrobe. I found this affordable version from one of my favorite retailers, Missguided. I love the light blue shade, but it also comes in four other colors and at just $60 you really can’t pass it up. Evenings in the spring and summer can still get pretty chilly especially if you’re at an outdoor music festival. Last spring/summer, we attended a few festivals and I always had a denim jacket on hand!

Black Basics

Even in the warmer months black can be a great color to incorporate into your wardrobe. It adds an edgy touch to any outfit and it provides a great foundation for stand out accessories – which I rely on to really elevate an outfit.
