With festival season kicking off next month I wanted to share one of my favorite bohemian inspired trends – fringe! It comes back in style every spring season. Fringe is a trend that can be worn so many different ways no matter what your core style is. Personally, I love bohemian vibes, but my everyday style is a little more sophisticated with a touch of edge. That doesn’t mean that I don’t love to wear festival pieces though. I just try to work them into my wardrobe a little more naturally.
One of my favorite retailers to find the latest trends that are actually wearable is Nordstrom. They always have a great offering, and I could envision myself in almost every piece they have. To try out the fringe trend the season I found these Free People jeans with the perfect amount of fringe detail at the hem. I love the frayed hem look for an edgy feel. Free people is one of my favorite brands for denim because they’re always figure flattering and they have the perfect amount of stretch so they’re comfortable too. I paired them with this waterfall trench – which unfortunately sold out super fast, but this one is very similar. It’s the perfect nude color and the flowing silhouette is feminine yet effortless. I love the juxtaposition of a sophisticated trench with an undone hem. I’m all about mixing elevated pieces with everyday items.
