I’m so excited to share today’s look with you guys because I’ve been waiting for this blazer to come back in stock since I bought it months ago – and it’s finally back in stock in all sizes! It’s by one of my favorite brands and I own it in both navy and white (see how I wore it here) and the black version is in my cart as I write this. It’s such a great blazer and at under $100 it’s a smart investment too. I always have a few tailored blazers on hand. I love the way a great blazer can dress up even the most basic pieces. I often pair my blazers with distressed denim and a silk cami (like I did here) or a basic tee like above.
I’m obsessed with the gold hardware on this blazer. It really elevates it and it looks great with some of my favorite accessories like this watch and this bag.
When we left for Austin late last week, we still had a ton of snow back home, but while we were gone most of it melted as temperatures rose to the 70’s. For us, that feels like summer! So many people have been out in shorts and tank tops. I tend to get cold, so if I bare my legs, I’m usually wearing some type of jacket or long-sleeved top. I just got this denim mini skirt and I’d been dying to wear it all weekend. Unfortunately, Austin was just too cold and windy so I ended up wearing it here at home instead.
Someone asked me the other day if I thought this bag would still be in style for this spring/summer and I definitely think it will be! I know the “it” bags sometimes feel like they go out of style in a season or two, but this one is still carried at all of my favorite retailers (and it’s still on backorder at quite a few). It’s such a versatile bag and a crossbody is one of the best styles for spring and summer when you’re outside running around town. As much as I love big bags, I’m almost always wearing a crossbody in the warmer months.
