I’ve been loving cozy hoodies layered under everything lately. Since winter is back with a vengeance, I can’t quite ditch heavy layers yet, unfortunately! I love the look of a neutral sweatshirt layered under a more structured piece for an effortless feel. I’m all about making outfits feel approachable yet tailored. I bought this white sweatshirt a few weeks ago and it’s my current favorite. It’s sold out in this exact color, but it comes in a zip-up version too and a few colors are on major sale – like only $10! I like buying basics like sweatshirts, tees and camis from affordable retailers so I don’t have to worry about ruining them – especially lighter colored pieces that I know won’t stay clean forever (especially with two dogs).

I paired this look with my favorite designer heels to dress up an otherwise casual look for dinner the other week. I love the look of a minimal outfit elevated with heels and a great bag!

A lot of you guys ask for more casual footwear options so I shot this look with what I wore during the day too – these sneakers which are my go-to. They are pricey for a sneaker, but they’re just so street style chic to me! I had to have them. I love that they already look worn in too so I don’t have to be super conscientious of keeping them clean. Another go-to more affordable option are these sneakers – which I buy every spring/summer.
