As much as I wish it actually felt like spring, there’s no denying that winter weather is sticking around for a lot longer than anyone would like. This time of year is always a struggle to find the appropriate outfit – heavy winter layers feel tired, but it’s just too cold for full-on spring attire in most places right now. That’s where layering comes in. I always stock up on heavier-weight spring jackets like utility, bomber and leather styles. These are the core styles that get me through every spring season.

Bomber jackets are one of my favorite spring jacket styles. They’re a great athleisure piece that adds a masculine yet effortless vibe to any outfit. They look great paired with workout gear or denim. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect olive bomber jacket for a while. I recently ordered a few to try and this one was my top pick. I love the olive color and the orange color inside. It’s the perfect masculine piece to edge up any outfit.

Booties always seem to be the most versatile footwear because you can wear them in every season. I have a major thing for camo lately so when I saw these camo sock booties, I had to have them. I love how sleek the sock bootie trend is, but I’ll be honest most don’t look great on me since I’m so petite – finding the right pants to wear with them is a struggle. I ordered several styles recently, determined to find the pair that would work and these ones were my favorite. They actually have a sleek zipper which makes them fit better around my ankles. You can wear your pants over them or tuck them in – which I can’t do with most sock booties without them look scrunched. They come in tons of colors too!

There’s nothing like a great pair of leather pants (faux or real) to dress up an outfit and keep you warm. These faux leather pants have been a staple in my wardrobe for the past couple of years – I’ve bought a couple pairs already. They’re super warm and flattering and I wear them with almost every weekend.
