It’s no secret that I love denim. I wear it nearly every day and most of the photos that I share here and on Instagram consistent of denim looks. I always feel like I’m on the search for my next great pair of denim. It’s an addiction that I just can’t quit. While I wear denim shorts more in the summer, there’s still just something about vintage denim that feels very summery to me. Vintage denim just has that Americana vibe. While I’ve tried out a few pairs of true vintage Levi’s – I still have yet to find a pair that fit my frame. Instead I’ve had much better luck with vintage-looking denim from a couple of brands that I wanted to share. Keep scrolling for my favorites.

I have the tendency to get obsessed with one pair of denim and then wear them nonstop. For the past few months, this pair of denim by GRLFRND has been my favorite. I love the light distressing and the stiffer feel of them. The high-waist fit is flattering and works so well with summer crop tops. That’s probably the biggest reason why I’ve been wearing this pair so much. I love crop tops, but I don’t like to show my midriff entirely so a higher-rise is best.

Another favorite denim brand of mine for summer is a cult classic – Levi’s. While I love the look of vintage Levi’s, I just haven’t found a pair that works on my body yet so I prefer vintage-looking Levi’s. This is one of my go-to pairs year-round. They are also a higher-rise fit, but a little tighter fit on my legs vs. the GRLFRND ones above.
