Today is the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Early Access event! I went through the entire sale and I’ve rounded up all of my favorite picks for you. I’m sure by now your Instagram feed is flooded with Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coverage so I’m keeping my list edited and only sharing the pieces that I really think are worth adding to your wardrobe. You guys probably know by now, but I really believe in quality over quantity and that doesn’t necessarily mean spending more. I really believe in buying pieces you’ll get wear out of.

Every year I get so excited for the sale because it’s the first chance to buy pre-fall merchandise at a discount. I always stock up on fall pieces that I know will get me through the season. My favorite pieces from years past are coats, sweaters and boots. This year, my top picks are: this camel coat, these jeans, this sweater and these booties. The coat I had my eye on is already sold out which is a good reminder to buy things fast because they can sell out within hours!

As a reminder, the Early Access event is open to Nordstrom cardholders only, but if you’re not a cardholder yet, you can still sign up and shop early here or you can wait to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale when it goes live to the public on July 20th. It does pay to be able to shop early because a lot of the best pieces sell out before the sale goes live to everyone. Nordstrom does restock a lot of items throughout the sale period though.I’ve been a cardholder for years because not only does it get you access to special events like this, but you earn 2 points for every dollar spent and when you earn 2,000 points, you’ll get a $20 Nordstrom Note to spend.
