Where to Buy This Fall’s Best Sweater Dresses

The start of fall is always an exciting time for me. As soon as I feel the slightest chill in the air, I use it as an excuse to pull out my sweaters. There really is not anything cozier and more seasonally appropriate than a good chunky sweater dress paired with your favorite boots. This is one of my foolproof outfits for fall. The beauty about it though, is that while it is ridiculously comfortable and forgiving, it does not sacrifice style. The sweater dress is a core piece to have in your wardrobe. Previously, I discussed the sweater styles you need for fall, but today I actually wanted to take it a step further and discuss where you can buy this season’s best sweater dresses.

Revolve
As you know by now, Revolve is one of my favorite online shops for everything clothing related. They continue to be one of the first resources I look to whenever I’m in need of new sweater dresses to fill my wardrobe. As fall has just begun, many places aren’t stocking sweater dresses quite yet, but I know I can always count on Revolve to have a grand selection of the coziest and most stylish options. I adore the fashion forward options by Lovers + Friends, the simplicity of By The Way, and the unparalleled quality of Tularosa. No matter what your personal style is, Revolve is always brimming with the best sweater dresses.

Nordstrom
With such a huge inventory of brands to pick from, Nordstrom easily sits high on my list of favorite places for clothing and accessories. They continue to be my one-stop shop for all the essential pieces in my wardrobe plus more. With a diverse range of sweater dresses from luxury brands to budget-friendly options, you’re bound to find something this season. I tend to gravitate towards Free People as you guys know by now, but there are more affordable ones from Topshop and Splendid, plus dozens of other great brands..

Shopbop
Another website I always catch myself browsing on is Shopbop. They deliver a ton of high-quality, modern styles that are perfect for fall. You can find several of my favorite brands like the usual, Free People – but I also love their sweater dress selections from Vince, Rag & Bone and BB Dakota. Overall, if you’re looking for a quality sweater dress, Shopbop is the right destination. They’re currently running an “Event of the Season” sale which allows you to save 20-25% off most items. The sale runs through September 29, so make sure you stock up on a few sweater dresses while they’re marked down!

Asos
As far as opening price points, you can’t ever go wrong with Asos. It has been one of my favorite places to shop online for the past several years. The sheer amount of product is truly amazing, and it’s always so hard to close out of the site without adding something to my cart! One great thing Asos does that other brands don’t, is have a line exclusively for petites. If you’re on the smaller side and struggle with finding sweater dresses that fit properly, you’ll appreciate this range from Asos.

Missguided
There is nothing better than finding a great deal on sweater dresses that fit like a glove. Missguided is one of those places I go to for budget-friendly but adorable styles. Their sweater dress collections are so on-trend and look more expensive than they actually are. I love their offerings that range from off-the-shoulder styles to body con and relaxed fits. They are perfect for pairing with slouchy over the knee boots.

Forever 21
Every now and then I find a good steal on Forever 21! I can appreciate how they manage to keep their inventory fresh with the biggest trends of the season. Whether it’s a cut out or a cowl neck sweater dress you want to try for fall, be sure to peruse Forever 21 for tons of affordable styles. If you see something you love, don’t hesitate to snag it because they often run out of smaller sizes fast.

H&M
My final budget-friendly recommendation is H&M. I love browsing their sweater dresses every fall and winter because I know I’ll find a good turtleneck or cowl neck style. As I’m all about versatility, I find that many of their tunic style sweaters are long enough that they can function as a dress. That makes H&M a great choice for shopping both regular sweaters and sweater dresses for the season!
