Spring Trends I’m Most Excited About

fashion blogger mia mia mine wearing a janessa leone hat and a chloe faye bag With each passing week, I am getting more and more excited for the warmer months and the amazing spring trends that are right around the corner! Dressing for winter is always a fun challenge, but I am definitely over the cold and ready for something new. I find that the warmer months always bring out my more feminine side, which I love mixing with edgier pieces. And with so many new options to try, I can’t wait to dive into the new season. Here are the trends I’m most excited for:

Neutral Tones

The best thing about neutral tones is that they’re totally versatile. Wearing light layers creates a dynamic look that is ready for any unpredictable springtime weather condition. You can keep your whole ensemble understated and chic by layering white with beige, khaki, and other earthy tones. Layering with neutral colors creates a sleek palette of color that is attractive, classy, and subtle.

Safari Jacket

Speaking of layers, one of my favorite layering pieces is the safari jacket in khaki or army green. It’s an ultra-casual piece that can be transformed for a variety of occasions depending on what you wear it with. They look really cute with light colored body suits, white jeans, and neutral-toned heels or boots. Of course, you could also style it in a more casual way with sneakers and a hat.

Bold Colors

With neutrals being a big hit this season, you can create the perfect backdrop for highlighting a bold or neon color! Create interest in your outfit with bright tops, shoes, and handbags! An all-time favorite of mine is pale blue because it goes with everything and complements any skin tone. I’m looking forward to incorporating more bold colors like hot pink and orange into my wardrobe this season.

One Shoulder

I am so excited about the one-shoulder trend because it’s sensual and elegant! Plus, with the weather starting to get warmer, it’s a great opportunity to show some skin! There are so many different styles for one-shoulder pieces from billowy blouses to form-fitting tanks and flirty rompers!

This is one of my favorite spring fashion styles because it’s lightweight and has a bohemian vibe that is universally casual and chic. It looks great in swimwear or as a swimsuit cover up.

Variety in texture is really important for creating a balanced look. Some trends I’ve been seeing on the spring 2019 runways lately include feathers, ruffles, and fringe. A great place to start for incorporating texture in your outfit is with handbags. Fringe and crochet handbags are definitely a must-have – and feathered earrings are a discreet way to add softness to your look.
