The Spring Colors to Shop Now

Last fashion week, there was so much color on the runways from pastels to neon brights – and my favorite, beige! Although I’m all about wearing neutrals, I make an effort to add more color into my wardrobe around this timeframe. It’s one of my no-fail solutions to work a touch of spring to my outfits. While there are many different ways you can wear color, I typically prefer brighter hues to add a playful pop – and softer, pastel tones to change up a monochrome look. As retailers begin to include more color ways in their selections, I wanted to share all the spring colors I’m most excited about wearing.

Coral
Pantone has named “Living Coral” the color of 2019, which means you’ll probably be seeing it everywhere soon. While this color has been slightly controversial in the fashion community, I’m loving the feminine and warmer tone for spring. It especially looks great in frilly dresses and accessories – and puts me in vacation mode.

Sage
As much as I love olive, it’s probably no surprise that sage green falls on my list of colors to wear. This softer green tone is perfect for spring since it feels so airy. That being said, it’s also super easy to style. I can see myself throwing on a sage trench coat over an all-white or nude outfit.
Powder Blue
Another classic color I’m always excited to bring out in the springtime is powder blue. It’s one of the few colors you can use to transition your winter wardrobe to spring. I love that it’s so soft and almost works as a neutral too.
Yellow
Yellow is a color I pull out more as the weather begins to warm up – and there are plenty of options to pick from this season. From marigolds to mustards and highlighter hues, get yourself in the mood for spring with a yellow sundress or ruffle blouse.
Veronica Beard Blazer | Intermix Basic Tee | Golden Goose Sneakers | Rag & Bone Jeans
Pink
I’ll never get tired of pink – it’s such a feminine color that looks flattering on everyone. And this season, all the different shades of pink are in the spotlight, including dusty variations and brighter tones such as fuchsia.
Lavender/Lilac
Lavender was actually last year’s color, but I think we’ll be seeing more of it this spring. Similar to pink, this soft, feminine color is a surefire way to brighten up anyone’s wardrobe.

Brown
I don’t always wear brown unless it’s shoes, but it’s starting to grow on me seeing how all the fashion “It” girls are wearing it more lately. Brown was also a street style favorite this past fashion month. I’ve already started to spot tons of brown jackets and oversized sweaters that would look great in my wardrobe.
