Spring is the perfect time to freshen up your closet with new shoes. I just love buying shoes at the start of the season because there are so many new styles from boots to high heels. Plus, some of the most stylish options are budget-friendly, which means you don’t need to spend a ton to look great. The shoes I typically splurge on during this time are espadrilles, pumps, or heeled sandals. Otherwise, I’ll opt for more affordable styles like the ones I’m wearing above (here). I have been getting questions about the shoes I’ve been wearing lately, so I thought I’d round up my favorite spring shoes you can shop right now. Don’t forget to check out yesterday’s post on how to walk in heels (full post here)!

Animal Print Heels…

Animal prints have been trending nonstop. You can dip your toes into the trend with two of my favorite leopard-printed pumps below. The Kurt Geiger heels are currently marked down from $200 at Zappos right now, making them super affordable. I love wearing leopard pumps with everything from leather pants to distressed jeans and mini skirts.

Heeled Sandals…

Designer heels are were I spend most of my money in my wardrobe. I have been wearing my Alexandre Birman sandals non-stop lately – and I always get so many compliments on them. They’re super sexy and modern. If you’re looking to save on some cute spring sandals, Steve Madden makes some great minimal styles that I also own too!

Flat Sandals…

Flat sandals are usually where I save the most! However, I have been eyeing these Gucci flip flops for a while now. Although flip flops are the simplest shoe ever, I can see these sandals looking so chic with everything from suits to dresses. The Gucci logo also proves that a simple pair of sandal doesn’t necessarily look lazy.

Espadrilles are the spring and summer “it” shoe. Last spring, I was put on the waitlist for my Chanel espadrilles. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to make the splurge initially, but once I received them and felt how amazing they were, there was no turning back. They’re so easy to maintain and dress up spring basics – even dresses. I also really don’t mind saving on a more affordable pair. Sam Edelman is one of my favorite budget-friendly brands for shoes. This season, they have an incredible line up of espadrilles. You can shop them here.

My go-to look year-round is a pair of ripped skinnies and trendy heels. Mules are definitely the shoe of the moment. A pointed-toe style looks ultra chic. I love wearing them to dress up a pair of ripped jeans.

I practically live in my Chloe wedges come spring and summer. The scalloped details are so cute and pair beautifully with lace and floral dresses. They’re definitely worth the high price tag. I shared last year that Phil basically soaked my shoes in water because they got so dirty during a music festival. Despite the nude color and suede fabrication, they looked as good as new. I was convinced then that they’re far more durable than they appear. Tony Bianco makes a similar pair that I’m loving.

For casual shoes, you guys know that Golden Goose sneakers are my go-to. I own them in several color ways. Although they are pricey for a sneaker, they’re just so street chic! The worn-in look is my favorite part about them. I’m also a huge fan of Nike sneakers – they’re far more affordable but stylish too.
