June’s Most Wanted

It’s hard to believe that another month has already come and gone. However, it’s also an exciting time since July 4 is only days away and most summer sales have started to kick off. I always like to stock up on summer basics right around this time since it’s a great way to save while adding new pieces to the wardrobe. With a few months of warm weather to go, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to maximize those summer staples. If you’re not sure where to start, I rounded up all the pieces that you guys loved and shopped the most from my blog and Instagram during June. Whether you’re spending the rest of summer at home or have a few vacations lined up, these pieces will keep you chic through the remainder of the season.
Shorts are the quintessential summer staple when you want a look that’s not too dressy but also not too casual. These shorts come with a luxe, silky texture that feels more expensive than they look. They’re running low on sizes, so get your hands on them while they’re still in stock.
Summer marks wedding season for many of us, so I always like to have one or two special occasion dresses readily available. This Self-Portrait dress has the most exquisite lace detailing and comes in a cut that’s both sexy and sophisticated. I love that it works for a wedding as well as any summer date night.
The Balmain blazer has become one of the most worn designer pieces in my wardrobe. I recently shared my full review of this classic piece here – and I’m happy to see that so many of you guys are taking my word for it. It’s one of the most sophisticated and elegant pieces out there that literally goes with everything.
I’m all about easy, wearable summer basics and I can’t stop reaching for this simple bodysuit. The square neckline is so on-trend and looks great tucked into shorts or denim. I highly recommend grabbing it in both black and white!
One of my favorite shoe purchases this summer has to be these transparent mules. The PVC trend is still going strong and these mules are a great way to try it out. They run for less than $50 and are surprisingly comfortable and versatile.
This dress just went on sale for 40% off at Bloomingdales, so if you’re in the market for easy, everyday dresses, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s such a great summer purchase because of how slimming and flattering it is. The thigh slit and D-ring details also make it super easy to dress up with heels for a night out.
I rarely splurge on a trendy statement top, but this one was too pretty to pass up. It’s a great option when layering doesn’t make sense, but you still want to elevate your look.
I love how these shorts by Topshop look both feminine and edgy, which makes it so easy to style for day or night. The paper bag waist makes it feel polished while the utilitarian details offer a casual, cool vibe. They’re only $60 and have plenty of sizes in stock.
I’m always looking for budget-friendly ways to try out new trends and knew I had to have these pearl barrettes. They’re such a fun way to play up loose waves or a messy bun. And at only $7 for a set of 3, you really can’t go wrong.
