Trends come and go, but the classics like denim last forever. Jeans have a home in every part of my wardrobe from casual weekend-wear to office-appropriate ensembles. So, I find that investing in quality denim should be at the top of your shopping list. The key formula for worthwhile jeans comes down to durability, comfort, and fit. I’ve tried out numerous brands throughout the years but have only a few trusted premium labels I always return to. Below, I’ve broken down the best denim brands to invest in and get started on your fall wardrobe.

GRLFRND

An Instagram cult classic, GRLFRND denim is a contemporary company that caters to the millennial consumer. You can find jeans that are extremely flattering on – even if you’re petite, and can easily transition from day to night. I love the heavier denim weight, flawless fit, and detailed distressing. My favorite high-waisted jeans (here) have gotten plenty of wear and always look so effortless.

Levi’s

If you’re looking for a quality denim brand that runs under $100 but offer a premium feel, Levi’s makes some of my favorites. Whether it’s a skinny or a boyfriend fit, they’re insanely comfortable and fit just right. Most of the denim cutoffs I wear are from Levi’s and they’re so ideal for everyday casual wear but can be instantly dressed up with heels.

L’Agence

When it comes to basics, I’m obsessed with L’Agence. The company has done an excellent job ensuring their jeans fit you in all the right places. The fabrication is a bit stretchy and lightweight, which feels great even after long hours of wear. Some of my favorite styles from L’Agence include the slightly distressed El Matador and signature Margot High Rise.

Frame

Frame makes jeans with such unique details like natural whiskering, frayed hems, and asymmetrical cuts. Their washes also make their jeans stand out from the rest. The Le Skinny Crop jeans (currently on sale!) along with these denim cutoffs are the two that I wear most – they’re pricey but completely worth the investment!

Rag & Bone

I also love Rag & Bone for more slimming, off-duty model vibe jeans that make your legs look miles long. They also produce exceptional oversized, boyfriend jeans. I have had several pairs of Rag & Bone’s in my wardrobe now and despite washing them repeatedly, they hold up so well with minimal signs of wear and tear.

Paige

Paige is another brand I’ve become really into lately. Their collection features every type of cut and silhouette from skinnies to flares and boyfriend to maternity jeans. They’re great for classic denim silhouettes that will always be in style. I picked up this pair from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and have been wearing them ever since!

What are your favorite premium denim brands?
