The Fall Wardrobe Staples That I Always Wear On Repeat

While I’ve spoken about wardrobe staples numerous times on the blog now, I wanted to do a quick rundown on the ones I always wear on repeat each fall. Having a great assortment of wardrobe staples is so important because they not only allow for much more versatility in your wardrobe, but they look amazing with those trendier, of-the-moment styles. That being said, there are certain fall wardrobe staples that I believe spending a bit more on to ensure they hold up with repeat wear. Lately, I’ve been doing a ton of shopping Bloomingdales for those key items.

Bloomingdales has their women’s selection broken into different shops that make browsing for fall fashion so easy. When it comes to high-quality staples, I’ve been doing a ton of shopping in the Advanced Contemporary section. There are so many of my favorite contemporary designer brands, like Rag & Bone, that you can mix together for a bunch of different looks. Everything is so wearable and can be reworked into office attire or evening outfits. Here are the pieces that are an absolute must in your wardrobe.

Blazers

Blazers are incredibly versatile and your options for styling them are seriously endless. An oversized silhouette can work as a jacket and keep you warm when layered with a sweater, or you can belt it at the waist over a sweater dress. For more of a statement look, you can even opt for a bold color or fun print – the options are endless. I prefer neutral colors like this one because you can wear it throughout the year.

Sweaters

Another one of my fall staples I wear almost every day is a cozy sweater. I have accumulated so many sweaters in different cuts and silhouettes, but my favorites are made from cashmere and feature a looser fit. They look so cozy chic with jeans and boots, but you can also wear them on off-duty days with leggings.

Sweater Dresses

If I’m not wearing jeans and a sweater, I’m most likely wearing a sweater dress and boots in the fall. They’re just so easy to throw on and they always look chic. If needed, you can dress it up further with a belt, statement earrings, and pumps for an evening look.

Black Pants

As much as I love jeans, I will rotate and swap them out for leather pants or black denim to keep things fresh. Black pants are great to have on hand if you want to look polished for the office or out at night. You can always dress it up on top with a lace bodysuit or slinky cami. I’ve been raving about coated black jeans nonstop these past few weeks. I just got this pair by Rag & Bone and they’re such a great substitute for leather. Plus, you can hardly tell they’re denim. The cropped inseam is also perfect for my size!

Leather Jacket

I’ve said it before, but leather jackets will never go out of style – and they’re always seasonably appropriate as soon as the weather takes a turn. I wear my leather jackets so much that I’ve even acquired in a few different colors. I’m currently crushing on this burgundy one by Rag & Bone.
