Winter Must-Have’s To Stay Cozy Chic All Season Long

As we head into peak holiday season, the temperatures are getting colder and that calls for fresh winter staples that will keep you cozy all season long. For me, those pieces almost aways involve outerwear, stylish yet practical footwear, and cozy accessories. I honestly love bundling up in the cold and getting out because everything feels so magical with all the Christmas lights and decorated trees around this time. Today, I wanted to share my favorite winter must-have pieces that are perfect for snuggling up in. When shopping for cozy staples, I always browse Nordstrom first because I can always find the coziest pieces at affordable prices. They carry most of my favorite fast fashion brands in the Trend department – and everything always looks more expensive. If your budget is getting tight as we head towards Christmas, my picks below would also make incredible gifts for any girl on your list.
Faux Fur Coat
I love wearing a good faux fur coat any chance I can get. The luxurious cozy feel elevates any outfit – and can be worn year after year. Nordstrom just debuted a ton of fresh winter styles that are worth scooping up for any last minute Christmas gifts. This Topshop one I’m wearing comes in two other neutral colors and feels more luxe than the under-$150 price tag. A faux fur coat helps ensure any girl has a well-rounded assortment of coats to get her through winter.
Loungewear
Comfy loungewear is one of my favorite indulgences during winter. Nothing beats coming home after a long day and throwing on some comfy clothes. A great pair of joggers or sweater set can be worn as pajamas but also double up as casual wear when you need to walk the dogs. It’s another one of those cozy pieces I love to give and receive for Christmas!
Hiker Boots
Looking cozy chic in sub zero temperatures is far from easy, but footwear can make all the difference in the world. I love that hiker boots with shearling details are trending hard right now. These Marc Fisher booties not only keep my feet warm and comfortable, but they’re so cute with everything from jeans to leggings. The lug soles are perfect for snow, ice, and rain. If hiker boots aren’t on your Christmas list yet, I’d highly recommend adding them!
Winter Accessories
Living in super cold climates means that cold weather accessories are essential to stay warm. Luckily, you don’t have to sacrifice style with a few chic options. You can find me on most winter days with this pompom beanie – it’s been a favorite for years now and is also great for wrapping up as a gift. I also love chunky scarves and faux fur earmuffs when I’m going to be outside for longer periods of time.
Chunky Knit
If there’s one thing I’ve learned about building a winter wardrobe, it’s that you should always invest in sweaters that you can wear over and over again. I’ve mentioned this many times before but neutral colors are best so you can create multiple outfit combinations.
